The Banality of Friday

• Mi esposa is at the library studying.  I'm home with the kids, who are currently making noise upstairs.
• Dinner will be simple.  Shredded chicken, rice and vegetables...a one pot meal but somehow, a favourite.
• Tonight is a night for some vino tinto, methinks.
• I finally feel like a human being again after a bout with pneumonia last week.  Nothing now but a persistent cough as my lungs attempt to clear themselves.  I lost some weight during the whole affair but it wasn't my first choice in terms of the method.
