I've Gone and Done It......



  • Yes, I've committed iPhonery...it was bound to happen one day and that day has come.  My first smartphone.  Go big or go home, right?
  • Rain all week.  Where was all this water in July and August when we were drier than the surface of Mercury.
  • And since I went and got an iPhone, now was as good a time as any to cancel cable TV.  You know, the one that you pay $60 a month for and never really seem to be able to find anything worth watching.  Well...gone, gone and goner...so long and don't let the door hit you on the way out.
  • We're also cancelling our home phone service and trying out the netTalk Duo WiFi which will be quite a cost saver.  
  • Glass of wine or 2 tonight.....it's that kind of evening...chilly and damp.  Maybe a movie (yes, we can still watch those)

    cancelling cable! bravo! we cut the cord about 8yrs ago and have not regretted it once. well, during hockey K did, but he's almost cured of that vile habit too.

    netflix, on the other hand...

      Imagine choosing your friends based on what phone they have...oh the humanity! Or not, actually..lol! And yes...Netflix is in our future. I have to say that hockey is what I will miss the most as well. I can stream that from the CBC website, though so all is not lost ;)
